Frequently Asked Questions Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Great Lakes Comic and Toy Expo?

The Great Lakes Comic and Toy Expo, or GLCE, is a comic, toy, and collectible show that runs 2-3 times a year in the Metro-Detroit Area (Michigan). The goals of GLCE are to provide a venue for collectors and dealers to get together, buy/sell some of their favorite collectibles, and support any number of local charities.

What local charities does GLCE support?

We support any worthwhile cause that helps those who are less fortunate in the Metro-Detroit Area.  At various shows, we have supported the following groups: The VFW Hall (and Veterans) of Roseville, Michigan; Toys-For-Tots of Macomb County, Michigan; The Boys and Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan; and The Boy Scouts of America (Chapter #157).

Our support ranges from the group receiving a portion of door admissions and/or concession profits, to silent auction proceeds and/or a portion of table sales at a show.

Supported charities are shown for each show date on our website.

When is the Great Lakes Comic and Toy Expo?

All upcoming show dates/times/locations are shown on our web site HERE. We provide 3 shows each year, in July, September, and December.
